The Center for Rural Service Society (CRSS) successfully conducted a Strategic Planning Workshop to outline its vision, mission, and key priorities for the period 2025–2030. The workshop brought together Executive board members, senior staff, program coordinators, and key stakeholders to collaboratively reflect on past achievements, assess organizational strengths and challenges, and chart a forward-looking strategic direction.
The session included presentations on CRSS’s current programs, a SWOT analysis, and group discussions on emerging development needs, sustainability, and alignment with national and global goals such as the SDGs. Participants identified several strategic focus areas including:
- Climate resilience and ecological justice
- Women’s empowerment and livelihood development
- Community-based education and awareness
- Youth and child protection
- Strengthening institutional capacity and partnerships
The workshop concluded with the formation of a Strategic Planning Task Team responsible for drafting the full strategic plan based on the input received. The final document is to guide CRSS’s programming, fundraising, and organizational development over the next five years.
